Dentures

Your oral health, dental function, and self-confidence can all be impacted by missing natural teeth.

Dentures are a time-tested solution that you can choose to replace an entire mouthful or even just a few missing teeth.

At Rota Advanced Dental Care in Colorado Springs, CO, we provide dentures in just three days thanks to our advanced digital technology.

A Real Dentures Patient Talks About Their Experience

"Best dental care I have ever had.  Dr. Rota is extremely skilled and compassionate.  I am so happy I found Dr. Rota.  I had difficulty with upper denture,  but other dentists gave me "it's the best we can do".  When I met with Dr. Rota he knew right away he could make it better.  And he did.  He is a perfectionist and over achiever, and his desire to give you the best possible outcome is above and beyond.  I can't thank him enough." Tammie Shelton

Denture Options to Meet Your Needs

Dr. Joseph Rota recommends stable implant-supported dentures for patients who are missing most or all of their teeth. He offers a number of customizable options that make care and maintenance easy. No matter which type of denture you receive from Rota Advanced Dental Care, it will be crafted with your precise needs in mind.

Our Different Denture Types Serve Many Needs

If you're researching dentures, you're not alone. According to the American College of Prosthodontists, 120 million Americans are missing at least one tooth. Thirty percent of that group are missing all their teeth. Every year, approximately 15% of the toothless population receives dentures. We want you to join that group. Depending on your goals, you can come to our Colorado Springs dental practice to receive:

partial dentures

Partial Dentures

It is a common misconception that dentures are only a solution for patients who are missing all or most of their teeth. This is not the case. If you are missing several teeth spread throughout your mouth, but have the majority still intact, we can customize a set of partial dentures to fill in those gaps.

Full Dentures

Traditional full dentures, or complete dentures, are crafted to replace an entire arch or both arches of teeth. This is the most affordable option for replacing all or most of your missing teeth. Complete dentures are made to fit snugly over your gums while remaining completely removable.

Implant Dentures

Our dentist can surgically embed dental implants which serve as artificial tooth roots. These implants are then topped by dentures. Dentures supported by dental implants have the highest level of stability and support.

Implant-supported dentures are affixed to the jawbone and are not removable. Their security means you will never experience the slippage that can occur with traditional dentures.

Digital Dentures for an Affordable New Smile Without the Typical Long Wait

Digital dentures are an excellent low-cost option for patients seeking more affordable care. But the benefits aren't limited to costs.

To craft your digital dentures, we first create digital impressions with advanced CEREC® system technology. This avoids the need for messy, uncomfortable putty impressions and allows for precise treatment planning.

We then send these digital impressions to a cutting-edge lab that 3D prints a form-fitting, customized denture in just 3 days — much faster than the traditional 2- or 3-week turnaround. The same lab also makes our other restorations, and is trusted by our dentist for their quality and craftsmanship.

Excited to Explore Your Options?

Partial dentures. Complete dentures. Implant-supported dentures. We offer them all. Plus, thanks to our digital denture technology, we can deliver life-changing dentures in such a short amount of time. Contact our Colorado Springs, CO, office or request a free consultation to begin.

Whether you're considering implant-supported dentures or partial dentures, our team can help you prepare for your new smile.
For comfortable care, we offer both dental anesthetic and sedation.

Dentures Consultation

From partial dentures to full dentures, Dr. Rota will help you explore the best possibilities for your unique smile. After examining your mouth and potentially taking X-rays, he'll explain your options, giving you all the information you need to make a decision.

Supplementary Care

It's common for our Colorado Springs patients to need extractions or bone grafting before they are ready for dentures, which we handle in-house. Our dentist invests in your surgical results by using PRP, or protein rich plasma, to streamline the recovery timeline.

Implant Placement

For patients who choose implant-supported dentures, Dr. Rota can handle the whole process. During implant placement surgery he will make an opening in your gum and jaw to place each implant. Then, over a period of three to six months, those implants will fuse into place.

Digital Imaging

We're known for our cost-effective digital dentures. Each denture is planned using digital impressions, which give us precise specifications of your smile.

Temporary Dentures

Afraid of leaving our office without a smile? No need to stress. We will provide immediate dentures to bridge the gap between coming in for impressions and receiving your final, personalized set.

Denture Creation

Dr. Rota will send out your impressions to the same trusted local laboratory that crafts our other restorations. They will 3D print your dentures, and send them to us for placement.

Wearing or Placement

Then, you'll return to our Colorado Springs office for your new dentures. If you have traditional dentures, you can simply wear them. For implant-supported dentures, we will attach your abutments to the implants, and then secure your dentures to the abutments.

Dealing With Denture Damage? We Are Here to Provide Repairs

With proper care, there is no reason to expect problems with your dentures. However, unexpected breakage, discomfort, or bleeding gums can be signs you need a repair.

Our dentists can fix many denture issues at our office. In some cases, we will need to send your dentures out for more complex repairs. Regardless of your need, we will be here to take care of you.

Our Dentist Gives Expert Tips For Taking Care of Your Dentures

At Rota Advanced Dental Care, we pride ourselves on helping each patient get the most out of their investments with us. We will provide instructions to help you:

Eat Safely

There are some dietary choices that can make adjusting to a new set of dentures easier. Early on, it is wise to stick to soft foods, avoid crunchy ones, chew on both sides of your mouth, and double-check food temperature before eating. Other than using caution around hot foods and drinks, these adjustments are unnecessary with implant dentures

Clean Confidently

Dentures should be cleaned daily, just like natural teeth. Traditional dentures should be removed from your mouth and cleaned with denture cleansers instead of regular toothpaste. You should also brush your gums, tongue, and palate before inserting your dentures each morning.

Stress-Free Dental Care In Colorado Springs

"I cannot recommend Rota enough! I haven’t been to a dentist in 10 years and had quite a bit of anxiety over the treatment I required. They went a above and beyond to set me at ease before and during the procedure...Seriously, if you need a new dental team, you will LOVE these people." Mindy Upton

FAQs About Our Dentures

Q. How much do your dentures cost?

A. Our digital dentures are a cost-effective option, as they're typically under $2,000 per arch. This price will increase if you opt for implant-supported dentures or if you need any supplementary treatments like bone grafting. The full cost range for dentures at our practice is between $1,800 and $7,000.

Q. Do dentures have health benefits?

A. The answer depends on the type of denture. Essentially, traditional dentures offer improve appearance and functionality, but only implant-supported dentures have health benefits. That's because the dental implants help to prevent potentially dangerous jawbone recession by stimulating your bone tissue, just like your tooth roots used to do.

Q. If I choose implant-supported dentures, will I need to replace the implants?

A. No — with good care, your implants can last a lifetime. Your dentures, however, may need replacement every five to ten years. With our digital denture options, that part of the process can be simple and quick.

Q. Does your Colorado Springs office provide implant placement?

A. Yes, Dr. Rota is able to place and restore implants. This expertise is an invaluable factor in choosing your dentist, because it allows you to receive all your care at a single trusted office.
