I got 4 porcelain veneers in February. They don’t match. Two look the same, but the other two are different, and they don’t match each other. I hope that makes sense. This is clearly visible to me, but my dentist says they are all the same. It’s not just me either. I asked my sister (she is very picky) and my wife about it and they notice the difference. I am not sure what I need to say or how to describe what I am talking about to my dentist. How can I get this resolved? Jace
Jace – You can schedule an appointment with your dentist and be specific about what it is that makes your porcelain veneers differ. Is it the shape, color, size, or position? Write down the specifics, take pictures, or do whatever you think is necessary to help you get the point across.
Another option is to get a second opinion from a highly skilled cosmetic dentist. He or she will examine the veneers and make a recommendation for correcting the issue. After that, you can make a determination of which provider you prefer to resolve the differences with your veneers.
